Lauren Alaina & Fiance Call Off Engagement

1/21/2019 — Lauren Alaina said that 2018 was one of the hardest years for her with the loss of her stepdad, and now 2019 seems to be starting off with some difficult changes as well. She posted to social media that her fans have always been so open and supportive through her life and her relationship so she felt is was only right to share with her fans that her and her fiance, Alex, were calling off their engagement. There were no details other than her post that stated, “While we still have love for each other, we have grown into very different people over the last six years. We are now in the place where we are each looking forward to starting our own fresh, new chapters of our lives. We both love and respect each other and hope you will do the same.” We hope nothing but the best for both of them.
