Blake Shelton Jokes About Losing “Sexiest Man Alive” Title

11/21/2018 — It's only been about two weeks since People Magazine named Idris Elba the next "Sexiest Man Alive." This title was given to the one and only, Blake Shelton, last year. Being named "Sexiest Man Alive" by one of the biggest media companies in the US is a huge deal, and I think Blake Shelton is struggling with losing that title.. hahah

"Can I be honest? I feel like when I gave up my crown, sexy ended," he joked to Entertainment Tonight. "It just ended in the world. So until I get it back, it doesn't exist anymore." Then he was asked about the Idris Elba and how he felt about him being the new "Sexiest Man Alive" and he responded with, "I'm sure this new guy is a nice guy. He's a great guy. I mean, I don't see it myself. I'm really the only person I've ever seen it with, but…"
